When the stars align.

This post is such randomness, but oh well; it's Tuesday. Every once and a while I get my biznass together and things just go. For example, getting all food and ingredients prepped before I start cooking. 

Little bowls everywhere!

I LOVE doing this because I bought these cheap little clear glass bowls from Ikea and it makes me feel like I'm on a cooking show. Except my hair is dirty and I'm wearing an ancient t-shirt. And no make-up.

I'm not always able to get this done for every meal I make. Maybe once a month is more like it. But I'm really enjoying this time before full-time work kicks in and Mike's classes start up again and this is one of the things that I love to do.

After our Georgetown excursion yesterday we cleaned a bit and got dinner ready and hung out together. It was glorious. When we were both working in San Jose things were great but we had a different and more rushed routine. I know that our days are about to get a lot more like that but I'm loving what we've got going on RIGHT NOW and I'm so tickled that it so happens to be the week leading up to our first anniversary.

As a Married Couple...

our First Thanksgiving.

Don't mind the nasty lighting, we're still using a phone and not a camera.

I'm going to try to do this until we formally exchange paper goods otherwise known as our first anniversary {I'm a traditionalist, yo}; I already missed out on commemorating our first Halloween, Mexican Independence Day {September 16th}, Oktoberfest, and Armistice Day {November 11th - to celebrate the end of WWI, FYI}, amongst other things, but for future reference, they have here and now been duly noted in the annals of San Jose Señorita.
In other recent and related news, my new Social Security card came in the mail; I'm officially not Old Me anymore - I'm the New Me...exciting!
Good Saturday to you all, although it feels rather like Sunday or Monday, doesn't it?
