Bummer.

Changing of the guard margins.

I had some time to dawdle in the html of ye olde blog this morning and got the margins to a place of love instead of a place of narrowness; now I can put in BIGGER pictures for you reader!
In other news, there are veggies languishing in our fridge that need to be cooked ASAP {or "YA" if you're thinking en español}. There's laundry waiting {ever so patiently} to be washed and folded. There's a Mad Men episode on tonight begging to be watched or at least recorded. There's family to be visited with. There's some preparation to be done for work tomorrow. There are lunches to be made as well.
On the other hand it's a beautiful day out.

Blogger?

Fellow Blogger bloggers; were you holding out the way I had been? I'm referring to the, ahem, changes. 

He represents my feelings.

Much like other Google applications Blogger has been updated, streamlined, made more modern, whatever. How do you all feel about it? This wasn't an unexpected incident; they let us know quite a while ago and gave the option of switching over months before today's official launch. I took a look and decided I wasn't a fan. But now reckoning day has come. Oh well. It's probably better, more intuitive, user-friendly, whatever. 
On a brighter note, tomorrow's supposed to be gorgeous and also is supposed to be Friday; double whammy of awesomeness!

100.

This is my 100th post y'all {channeling Paula Deen here, in case you haven't noticed}!

I am so glad I do this blog. The readership may be limited but that's not my goal. What I aim to do is purely selfish; I need to remember my days. I've said it before and I maintain that it's super easy for me to forget little details and time just seems to go faster and faster every day {case in point: where has my summer vacation gone?!?!}. I'm grateful to be able to read back about mundane things I did or was thinking about; I'm hoping I'll be even more thankful for this in later seasons of my life when the landscape has changed {children hopefully, different jobs, more education, different cities, more wrinkles, etc.}. I look forward to remembering what this time was like and to continuing my recordings of what's going on. Hopefully that made sense written the way it does in my mind!
I could do a "100 things about me" sort of thing. Maybe I will tomorrow? I am more drawn, though, to committing to 100 more blog posts. Ideally that would be 100 more days since I've been sticking to this everyday situation. That would take us to...wait for it...October 23rd, 2011. As an aside that would be 50 days after our wedding. A good goal for us as a couple and for me as a blogger I suppose! Ha!
Anyway, here's to 100 more and a great weekend☺!

***Addendum*** Oh shoot! After I posted this I double checked the count of posts on the left and it says I'm at 99; ha! When I go to my log-in screen though, it says I have 100. Yikes. Despite my desire for accountability, I'm not going to individually count each, sorry, rather I'll just do something 100 related tomorrow as well. Does that sound good? Yes, I agree, it sure does. A year ago today I started this thang and I'm very glad with what it's come to be, a place for me to write down little things. I read my first few posts several weeks ago just for fun and this is what we were up in June 2010:
* the world cup was happening; what fun!
* some friends from Texas had just visited and some friends from Pennsylvania were visiting.
* I had started summer school
* we were about to move to my grandmother's house
* things were good!
Today:
* the NBA finals are coming to an end
* I'm not doing summer school but I am planning a wedding ♥
* we still live with my grandmother
* we're so excited to celebrate in a matter of weeks with our fabulous friends

We went back!

My dad and I, that is! we couldn't stay away from the yuumy food. The frigid weather we could have done without, but oh well. Clouds and June sun behind them, however, provide a beautiful type of lighting. As do Greek colored patio flags.

Here's someone when I woke up this morning, on clean laundry of course (that laundry might be on it's 3rd day of being fresh out of the dryer...might).

I'm kind of in the home stretch, grading wise, woo hoo! I'm also wondering if I could make June a 365 in 30 sort of month. A 365 blog is when the blogger commits to blogging once a day for a year, 365 days, hence the 365 blog. Now with a wedding coming up and the school year, I'm not quite sure I could muster up a 365, but a 30, as in all 30 days of June, I just might be able to handle. We shall see if I can continue past June, or even finish June (ha!). I'm leaving the country in July for a week so that might be the first roadblock between me and a 365, but crazier things have happened.

Identity Crisis...

There obviously have been some changes around here and probably there will be some more (I just don't love my header and I'm getting familiar with photo editing software {that is what it's called, right?} so hopefully I'll have a better one pdq). I just want this to be cute, y'all!! I've been enjoying my our wedding blog and how cute I think it is and it's been making me want a cute non-wedding blog. Anyway, I'll get to more real posts later this week.
